Thomas Paine ‘The Rights of Man’ book, Burke Reflections on the Revolution in France book no xx and the Peterloo Massacre

Since I read-re-read Burke I have been on a French Revolution Trip. Having discovered MARY WOLLSTONECRAFT. Now with the PETERLOO MASSACRE standing in my brain a picture is building up on that most tumultous of periods. I think PAINE is part of the equation. I will edit this if wrong! Posted by Picasa

I never ended up on a ‘French Revolution Trip’ but In Our Time on the Peterloo plus Paine’s ‘Rights of Man’ which I gather from Kymlica is an libertarian response [as far as rights are concerns, lesson liberatarian, communitarian, liberal eqaulity etc the rights package can come in many different packages).
Likewise socialism and other ISM’s can come in unconventional packages. One would only have to recognise it using FORMS a plato and aristotle thing (Sheilds Blackwell Guide to Ancient Philosphy).
I have not got a number for this book so I need to work out what it is from the lists I have re-edited further on on blog.
